YENAGOA CITY FOOTBALL ACADEMY INVITED TO REPRESENT NIGERIA AT BANGKOK SUPERCUP 2027

__ADA GWEGWE CALLS ON BAYELSA GOVT, NDDC, NCDMB, BANKS & CORPORATES TO SUPPORT NIGER DELTA KIDS__

History is about to be made as Yenagoa City Football Academy, (YCFA) has received an official invitation to represent Nigeria at the prestigious Bangkok SuperCup 2027 in Thailand. The tournament will feature the best U-12 and U-14 teams from around the world.

For Coach Ada Gwegwe and the management of YCFA, this is more than a tournament. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Niger Delta kids to showcase their talent on the global stage.
“This invitation is a validation of the hard work we’ve been doing in the creeks and communities of the Niger Delta,” Coach Ada Gwegwe said.  
“Our U-12 and U-14 boys have trained with heart, discipline, and hope. Bangkok 2027 is their chance to fly the Nigerian flag and tell the world that talent in the Niger Delta is world-class.”

150+ YOUTH BENEFITING FROM THE VISION
Today, over 150 kids and youth are already under the YCFA platform across the Niger Delta. Through football, YCFA is giving them structure, education, mentorship, and exposure — keeping them off the streets and putting them on the path to purpose.

“But we cannot do this alone,” Coach Ada added.  
“I am calling on the Bayelsa State Government, the NDDC, the (NCDMB), Banks, and all well-meaning multinational companies operating in the Niger Delta to partner with us.  


This is not just about football. This is about youth development, peace, education, and giving our children a global opportunity to represent Nigeria with pride.”

With the right support, these kids will not only compete — they will inspire a generation back home and bring honor to Bayelsa and Nigeria.

“Niger Delta has produced the best talents in Nigeria. And we want to  produce more global champions,” Coach Ada concluded.
