NWFL Club Owners Faults Henrietta Ehiabor Deceitful Nominee Pranks.
The dust is yet to settle in the aftermath of the NFF's leadership 'clear and simple' instruction to the three leagues, NNL, NLO and NWFL to pick among themselves each three nominees for inclusion into the proposed seven-man board.
Three attempts to effect the simple instruction has failed to yield the results due to self-seeking and pecuniary interest of few members among the NWFL clubs.
The reasons for the failed attempts have been the twists and well concocted lies heaped around the expressly stated instruction by the representatives, perhaps egged on by the NWFL Chief Operating Officer (COO), Modupe Shabi at the NFF meeting in the persons of Delta Queens CEO, Henrietta Ehiabor and Dream Stars' Abdulrahman Abolore.
Firstly, Ehiabor came back from the meeting to inform the members that two of the three spots were ceded to her and Abolore and only one spot is available for nomination.
Shell-shocked members questioned the authenticity of this claim and in a quick turnaround, Ehiabor averred that she is the only one given an automatic slot as she would go ahead to become the Vice Chairperson of the yet-to-be constituted board.
Again that claim was fiercely challenged and the headship of the NFF has to come clean to not only threw out the purported nominees sent to them, but insisted that the nomination process had to be redone as nobody was in the first instant given an automatic or exclusive slot.
On Thursday, May 04, 2023 Abolore served a notice for an emergency meeting to hold just few hours away from the notice and subtly inked as agenda – NFF directive.
Swift responses were to the effect that more time is needed for the meeting and that Abolore should come out clean with details of the agenda ‘NFF directive’.
However, the pushers and cohorts of the agenda already in the known of what the ‘NFF directive’ is and in their desperation to achieve the script went ahead with the meeting where a purported three nominees were picked.
Of course, this mischief did not go down well with the decent minds who insisted on knowing the core reason(s) the NFF wanted a rerun of the whole exercise. They wanted to know whether any person or persons were culpable in the directive for rerun of the process.
Of course, the plain truth was that the NFF President and General Secretary debunked and distanced themselves from the purported claims by the duo, Ehiabor and Abolore that they were given automatic slots.
Now the moralists and purists are of the opinions that the perpetrators of the heinous lies which are tantamount to perjury should immediately stand down and recuse themselves from further participation in the nomination exercise.
However, the pushers and their desperate rented gangs would have none of this but went ahead to pick three nominees, and one of the beneficiaries is the same person, Ehiabor who has unresolved lying, moral and trust baggage.
The essence herein is to put the general public and NFF on notice of this hanky-panky and to advice to disregard any list or lists these desperadoes may want to forward as NWFL nominees.
