BAYELSA KIDS CUP: CITIBOY RECEIVES BRANDED JERSEY

Organisers of the Bayelsa Kids Cup led by its Coordinator, Ada Gwegwe, on Tuesday,. presented a branded jersey to one of its core supporters, Mr Igere Joshua Glory, the Chief Executive Officer, Official CitiBoy Concept.

Receiving the jersey, Mr Igere Joshua Glory, who is highly regarded as one the youngest entrepreneurs in the state, expressed his gratitude to the organisers for the honour, and assured he will support the competition to see its successful completion.

Popularly known as CitiBoy, Mr Igere, currently hosting the CitiBoy League in Azikoro, also gave Ada Gwegwe thumbs up for his continuous dedication towards the growth of grassroot football in the state.

‎Prosperity Cup Organizers to Commence Sale of Registration Forms ‎

‎...Prize Money Increased to N30m in Celebration of 30th Anniversary of Bayelsa  ‎ ‎Organizers of Nigeria's biggest grassroots football tournament, the Bayelsa Governor's Football Tournament tagged the Prosperity Cup, say they have concluded plans for the sale of registration forms for Season eight of the competition. ‎ ‎Director General of the tournament, Mr. Ono Akpe in a statement on behalf of the Central Organizing Committee, COC, noted that this year's edition would witness some innovations.  ‎ ‎According to him, the sale of registration forms will commence from the 1st of December through the 15th of January, 2026 while the tournament will kick-off on the 13th of February, 2026 as part of the activities to celebrate the governor's sixth year in office.  ‎ ‎The statement noted that Season Eight would be a special edition to celebrate the 30 years anniversary of Bayelsa State with a special commemorative trophy, which has been specially designed and orde...

Eguavoen, Fuludu, lead NFF team to Yenagoa for 3rd Prosperity Cup Coaching Clinic.

The Organizers of Nigeria's largest and most prestigious grassroots football showpiece, the prosperity cup in Bayelsa State are putting a week coaching clinic together to update and sharpen the technical abilities of coaches participating in this year's edition of the competition. The coaching clinic, which will be conducted by seasoned football experts begins on Monday, 3rd to 7th of March, 2025 at the NUJ Press Centre, Ekeki, Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital. Disclosing this to newsmen in Yenagoa, the Director General of the Prosperity cup Central Organizing Committee, Mr.Ono Akpe explained that the event, which is the first of two coaching clinics that will hold in course of this year's football fiesta, will have fifty coaches in attendance.
