BAYELSA KIDS CUP: PROSPERITY CUP ORGANISERS, OFFICIAL CITIBOY CONCEPT, OTHERS, TO PARTNER TOURNEY;

The 7th edition of the Bayelsa Kids Cup football competition which got underway on Saturday at the Bishop Dimieri Grammar School premises, has continued to receive more endorsements and partners from both individuals and business outfits.

Strictly organiser for players under the age of 13 years, is currently the youngest football competition in Bayelsa State.


Local Organizing Committee of the Bayelsa Governor's Football Tournament led by its Director General, Ono Akpe, and the Deputy Director General (Corporate Affairs) Emmanuel Appah, who were at the BDGD School field, expressed delight with the turnout of kids participating in the competition.

The DG, emphatically said from next edition, the Bayelsa Kids Cup will be an integral part of the Prosperity Cup, and would love to see more teams feature in the tourney.

Chief Executive Officer, Mekloy Integrated Services, Mrs Lucy Okolie, who also present at the venue, was full of happiness seeing the passion and determination from the kids, and expressed her desire to contribute her quota to the success of the Bayelsa Kids Cup.

In the same vein, the Chief Executive Officer of the Official CitiBoy Concept, Igere Joshua, in a telephone chat with the Organiser of the Bayelsa Kids Cup, Ada Gwegwe, eulogises him for engaging the minds of the young lads with a football competition, adding that it was the fastest way of defining the career path of kids, as witnessed in developed countries.

Igere Joshua popularly known as "CitiBoi", who has been often times described as Bayelsa's youngest entrepreneur, also assured to support the competition to see to it's successful completion.
